A new restaurant is preparing to open its doors in Fort Lauderdale on the southeast corner of Northwest 19th Street and 24th Terrace. Called Djouna Restaurant, it’s working to open its doors at 2408 NW 19th Street, according to plan review paperwork submitted by Djouna Restaurant LLC.
What Now confirmed the news on Monday with owner Johny Beauvoix.
“It’s a restaurant, with maybe eventually a bar,” Beauvoix said (although no liquor license is incoming yet). And the menu? “Fried chicken, French Fries, rice, that kind of thing,” Beauvoix said.
For the moment, that’s all that’s being revealed, so we’ll have to keep our eyes open.
No opening date has been set yet for Djouna Restaurant, which will be opening across the street from All County Auto, near Mission Revival Center of the Apostolic Faith.
Stay tuned for possible updates as more details are revealed.
