Dr Limón Ceviche Bar is opening another location in its native South Florida, according to a recent plan review submitted by the company. This time Dr Limón is taking its Peruvian fare to Homestead, with the address listed as 2508 NE 10th Ct. By our count, it’s the chain’s ninth location.
Dr Limón serves a wide variety of tasty seafood dishes, including fourteen different ceviches, like the Fiebre Amarilla with yellow pepper cream and the Remedio Casero with classic hot limo pepper. Raw-fish Tiraditos include Ahi Tuna Tamarind and the striking pink and purple Pulpo al Olivo.
The meal opens nicely with appetizers like Yuquitas Huancaína (fried cassava croquettes, huancaína sauce) and Los Anticuchos del Doctor (tender pieces of beef heart, choclo), while main courses include 911 Emergencia (quinoa and canary beans cake, grilled salmon, huancaina sauce) and Arroz con Mariscos. A selection of beer, wine, cocktails, and sangrias is also on offer.
The location on NE 10th Ct is situated near the intersection with NE 79th St, along which a few nearby eateries and entertainment spots include Pinecrest Bakery, Ferraro’s Kitchen Restaurant and Wine Bar, and K&K Billiards Miami.
What Now Las Vegas reached out to Founder & Executive Chef Carlos Brescia on Thursday morning. Brescia was not immediately available for comment on the news of Dr Limón’s Homestead location.
