A new breakfast and lunch spot is opening in Palm Beach, at the intersection of South County Road and Chilean Avenue. Opening in the space formerly occupied by Pastry Heaven, Drift Palm Beach will offer breakfast, lunch, and coffee from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

“We don’t have an official date yet, but we’re looking at march,” Josh, who owns the upcoming restaurant with his wife Lindsey, told What Now on Wednesday. “It’s going to be a breakfast and lunch cafe, with grab-and-go sandwiches, salads, and a full coffee program.”

Josh says taking over the business was a good way to find independence close to home. “I’d grown up in the area, and my wife and I wanted to do something on our own, and we found this opportunity to do something right here on the island.”

The new restaurant, which has only a few chairs inside but also features a courtyard patio, was a fairly quick turnaround in terms of renovations, having previously been a pastry shop.

“We bought Pastry Heaven back in December. We didn’t need to make any major changes to the space, other than refinishing, reflooring—giving it a facelift.”

Keep an eye out for Drift Palm Beach opening soon in the Palm Beach Historic Inn!
