Coming in at third place behind New York and Massachusetts, Florida boasts a whopping 909 Dunkin’ locations, with one location for every 23,630 residents. (Going by the per capita metric, the real winners are Massachusetts and Connecticut, though: they have one Dunkin’ for each 6,600 and 7,540 residents respectively). For many in these states (and beyond), Dunkin’ is kind of a way of life.

Growth seems to be continuing for the brand in South Florida, as a plan review submitted by HZ Coffee Group points to a Dunkin’ opening at 26755 South Dixie Highway in Homestead.

What Now reached out on Monday to franchisee Amin Dhanani to inquire about plans for an opening there in the Naranja area. Dhanani was not immediately available for comment.

Meanwhile, there are more Dunkin’ developments: on October 16, the Dunkin’ Halloween menu will be rolling out, according to recent coverage by Food & Wine.

The new seasonal menu “includes a never-before-seen purple, Potion Macchiato, a “reimagined” Spider Donut, and Dunkin’s first-ever Halloween Munchkins Bucket, which comes with the new Munchkins covered with sprinkles,” says the coverage. “As Dunkin’ explained, the Potion Macchiato is an ‘espresso layered with flavors of marshmallow ube and whole milk – all in a striking purple hue,’ while the returning Spider Donut is “getting a makeover” with new purple frosting.”

Stay tuned for updates on the Homestead location as more information becomes available.
