EggBred, the fast casual breakfast and lunch spot that serves scratch-made sandwiches and more, is opening its first-ever South Florida location.

The restaurant will open at 8560 Stirling Road in Hollywood some time in June 2026, according to  franchise owner, Corey Barden. Barden said he chose the 1,200 square foot space for its central location and suitability for the concept.

Barden, who has previous restaurant experience, said he gravitated toward EggBred for its commitment to quality. “What impressed me the most is that the menu is designed by chefs”. That means fresh avocados for the sandwiches and sauces made in-house. “It’s the niche between fast food and a sit down meal,” he adds.

EggBred is a fairly new chain that’s rapidly growing.  Albert Shim opened the first location in La Habra, California in 2020, serving craft breakfast and lunch sandwiches during the pandemic. The restaurant grew a loyal following for its savory sandwiches such as the “Scramble me Softly”, with soft scrambled eggs, chives, caramelized onions, sharp cheddar, and a  smoked paprika spread on a toasted milk bun; and a Nashville Hot Country Fried Chicken sandwich that adds an egg and a side of country sausage gravy to the spicy sandwich.

Today, there are about 14 locations, including one in Central Florida and one in Northeast Florida, with more on the way.
