North Miami Welcomes 86th Huey Magoo’s Restaurant

Founded in 2004, Huey Magoo’s has opened a new restaurant in North Miami, Florida. The fast-casual chicken tenders brand is known for its signature hand-crafted tenders and is now bringing them to more guests in South Florida.

The new restaurant spans 2,400 square feet and offers both indoor and outdoor dining. Guests can order in-store and online through the brand’s website and mobile app. Catering services are also available.

The North Miami location is operated by franchisees Frank Hennessey, Harry Dixon, and Henry Dixon. It marks the group’s fourth restaurant, with plans to open nine locations across Broward and Miami-Dade counties.

According to PR Newswire, Henry Dixon said the new restaurant marks the group’s fourth location and called it an exciting milestone for the team.

“Each restaurant represents our dedication to delivering great food and a great guest experience, and we’re incredibly proud to continue growing with the brand,” Dixon added. “The support from the community has been outstanding, and we look forward to bringing even more guests the quality and hospitality that Huey Magoo’s is known for.”

To celebrate the opening, the restaurant will host a ribbon-cutting event in March featuring a live DJ from Y-100, giveaways, and family-friendly activities.

Huey Magoo’s is known for serving chicken tenders made from the tenderloin, described as the most premium cut of chicken. Tenders are served hand-breaded or marinated for 24 hours and grilled. Guests can also choose to have them tossed in sauces including buffalo, sweet red chili, lemon pepper, and garlic parmesan.

The menu features customizable meals, along with salads, sandwiches, and wraps. Popular sides include hand-spun chips, coleslaw, and banana pudding. The menu also includes a variety of house-made dips such as Magoo’s, Spicy Magoo’s, ranch, honey mustard, barbecue, garlic parmesan, sweet red chili, buffalo, and blue cheese.

The brand recently introduced Grilled Tender Bites, a high-protein, snack-sized option made from the same marinated and grilled tenderloin. Huey Magoo’s has also launched Magoo’s Rewards, a loyalty program where members earn points for every dollar spent.

Through an official social media post, the team behind the restaurant shared, “We are thrilled to announce that the 86th Huey Magoo’s location is now officially open in North Miami, FL! A huge shoutout to franchisees Henry Dixon and Frank Hennessey for making this possible.”
