In several decades as a brunch mainstay in Florida, First Watch has built a footprint that includes nearly 120 locations here in its home state. The brand’s next stop appears to be Kendall, where a recently submitted plan review shows a First Watch location opening at 8801 SW 136th Street.

First Watch offers a curated menu with revolving seasonal choices. Current seasonal menu items include Carnitas Breakfast Tostadas, Lone Star Brisket Hash, and Strawberry Tres Leches French Toast. Seasonal beverages include Mint Mocha Iced Coffee and Honey Caramel Crunch Iced Coffee.

The menu also features Power Bowls and Salads, plus sandwiches like the Monterey Club, the Baja Turkey Burger, and the Ham and Gruyere Melt.

The location on Southwest 136th Street is situated across from The Falls, a shopping mall that houses a number of retail stores, along with a range of food and drink spots, including Churromania, True Food Kitchen, BJ’s Restaurant & Brew House, and Sokai Sushi Bar.
