Five Iron Golf, the indoor golf and entertainment venue, is opening in Coral Gables.

Sunshine Coral Gables LLC applied for permits with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation to open a Five Iron Golf at 3009 Ponce de Leon Boulevard.  No opening date has been announced, though the company website notes it’s “coming soon”.

At its heart, Five Iron is a golf simulator equipped with high-speed swing cameras. Each bay allows players to “swing” at more than 200 different virtual golf courses. Guests can play 18 holes at PGA courses,  enjoy fun mini games, join a competitive league, or take golf lessons all at the same indoor facility.  The venue will also house bowling lanes for additional opportunities for games with friends.

Five Iron also brings the clubhouse experience to guests with food and drink with a full-service bar, chef-inspired menu, and a fun atmosphere. Five Iron also offers a weekday happy hour that includes a plethora of five-dollar items such as $5 boneless wings, $5 select beers, cans and cocktails, and $5 guacamole, hummus, and hot honey ricotta dips.
