Founded by restaurateur David Foulquier of We All Gotta Eat Hospitality Group, Mediterranean restaurant Fooq’s closed its doors in Downtown Miami during the difficult days of the COVID-19 pandemic. After several years, We All Gotta Eat, which is also behind restaurants like Sushi Noz and Eleventh Street Pizza, is preparing to relaunch the concept in a new location, according to coverage by Eater Miami.
The new location at 150 NW 73rd Street will encompass 9,000 square feet, including a second story and outdoor lounge areas.
“Having Fooq’s back in Miami is more than just reopening a restaurant, it’s a homecoming,” Foulquier told Eater Miami.
The Eater coverage says the menu can be expected to feature beloved Fooq’s dishes like charcoal-grilled kebabs and Persian stews, along with “new creations inspired by Foulquier’s travels.” There will also be a full bar, in addition to the restaurant’s expansive wine list.
What Now reached out to David Foulquier on Monday to ask about the upcoming new Fooq’s menu. Foulquier was not immediately available for comment.
