Located at 8903 Glades Road in Boca Raton, Fornello Italian Cuisine offers a menu featuring “Pizza, Pasta, Bowl & More.” Now, Fornello at Boca is preparing to expand to a sister location, this time in Coconut Creek. Submitted plan review documents show an opening in the works for Fornello at Coconut at 5369 Lyons Road, in the Winston Park Center shopping plaza.
“It’s going to be a full-bar Italian-Brazilian concept, with lunch specials and happy hour deals,” owner Marcel Parisotto told What Now on Friday.
The new location features seating for 87 guests, and while the offerings will mostly be the same as those at the Boca location, Parisotto says Coconut Creek is a little dressed up.
“The first one is a little more casual,” he said by contrast. “And here the menu is maybe 90% similar, but we are going to have some new Chef’s Specialties that we’re adding.”
Entrees in the Boca Raton location have included Stuffed Eggplant, Chicken Parmigiana, Veal Francese, Baked Ziti, and other Italian-style favorites.
