Helmed by hospitality veteran Brice Jones, Freehold Hospitality made a name for itself with its multi-faceted, hotel-without-the-rooms concept Freehold Brooklyn. The flagship location launched in 2015, featuring a coffee shop, lobby bar, and large outdoor courtyard, and it continues to serve as a combination workspace, cocktail lounge, and restaurant.

“With its dynamic programming and its seamless transitions from the work-by-day culture into a party scene at night, Freehold Brooklyn is poised to remain a hospitality staple in New York City for years to come,” says the Freehold Brooklyn website.

But the concept is not limited to New York: Wynwood’s Freehold location comprises more than 10,000 square feet, which includes three bars, a courtyard and stage, and an event and private dining space—plus a streetside cafe and NYC-inspired pizza shop.

And now, according to a recent Craigslist posting, Freehold Hospitality is at work on a new concept here in South Florida: Night Swim. The posting offers few details about Night Swim, describing it simply as a “new rooftop concept,” one which will open at 700 NE Second Ave., atop CitizenM Hotel Miami Worldcenter.

What Now reached out to Brice Jones on Tuesday to inquire about the planned rooftop spot. Jones was not immediately available for comment.
