Founded in Philadelphia, bagel chain Bagels & Co. announced plans last year to undergo a dramatic expansion comprising a total of 20 locations in Florida and in its home state of Pennsylvania. Since then, locations have launch in Wilton Manors and Fort Lauderdale, and another is on its way to Tallahassee.
Yet another location appears to be in the works in Davie, near HCA Florida University Hospital. A plan review submitted by Glu Hospitality, the company which owns the bagel chain, shows a new Bagels & Co. Planned for 3440 SW 76th Terrace.
Bagels and Co. serves up bagel varieties ranging from Asiago to Blueberry, to Pumpernickel, to Pumpkin, to Whole Wheat Everything. They come loaded up as Sandwiches like the Classic breakfast sandwich (Lox & Cream Cheese or Whitefish w/ Tomato, Onion, Cucumber, Capers) and the 2nd St. (Fried Eggs, Provolone, Pickled Onions, Tomato, Lemon Aioli).
“Using traditional methods and high-quality ingredients, Bagels & Co. has perfected the art of bagel-making to bring our customers the perfect bite every time,” says the brand’s website. “Whether you’re looking for a quick breakfast on-the-go or a made-to-order sandwich for lunch, we’ve got you covered with fresh, delicious bagels and housemade cream cheeses.”
