Founded in 1972, iconic New York City bagel brand H&H Bagels is about to undertake a major expansion. The brand, which currently has five locations operating in New York City, announced at the end of May that it has 25 new locations currently under development, taking H&H Bagels beyond the tri-state area into markets in Florida, California, Washington, D.C., Virginia, Illinois, and Connecticut.
The upcoming locations include both franchise and company-owned H&H Bagels outposts. Among several Florida destinations for H&H Bagels is West Palm Beach, where a company-owned location is in the works.
“We’re excited to bring our legendary New York City bagels to cities across the country as part of our expansion plan,” H&H Bagels CEO Jay Rushin said in a press release. “With each new company-owned and franchise location, we are looking forward to welcoming new customers to the H&H family, while working with like-minded entrepreneurs who are eager to bring an iconic brand and an authentic New York City bagel to cities all across the country.”
The West Palm Beach location will open in the upcoming NORA West Palm district from NDT Development, Place Projects, and Wheelock Street Capital.
