Nashville-style chicken franchise Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken has big plans for the Sunshine State. It has already launched locations in Miami and Zephyrhills (in the Tampa Bay market), and more are planned throughout the state, including Orlando, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, and—in South Florida—Fort Lauderdale.
A plan review submitted recently by Luigi’s Sando LLC shows Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken opening at 6237 N Federal Highway.
“Welcome to Hangry Joe’s, the rapidly-growing Nashville-style chicken franchise with presence from the East to the West Coast as well as Dubai and Korea,” says the Hangry Joe’s website’s About Us page. “Featuring the signature Nashville-style chicken sandwich, our premise is simple: to offer our customers the best chicken sandwich in town and an unforgettable experience to enjoy with friends and family.”
The Hangry Joe’s menu features the Chicken Sando (Chicken breast, cider slaw, pickle, Hangry sauce, and brioche bun) along with other chicken offerings, including Korean Chicken Nuggets, Chicken & Waffle, and Loaded Fries topped with chicken breast, jalapeño, and cheddar cheese.
What Now reached out to franchisee Anthony Barberio on Wednesday to inquire about plans for the Fort Lauderdale opening. Barberio was not immediately available for comment.
