Gaia Therapeat is planning a third location, according to owner Albert Calamari. What Now conducted a phone interview on Tuesday with Calamari to get more details about the opening.

We will be able to find the third Gaia Therapeat outpost in Davie at 2873 S University Drive, Calamari shared. They are in the midst of renovating the space where it will appear, and we can expect to find it open in about a month, if all goes smoothly. Calamari commented that this location has been in the works for a while now, and he has recently received the permits to do the revamps to their shop.

It will be located in the Shoppes at Rolling Hills strip mall alongside Vicky Bakery, Ye Olde Falcon Pub and Fresh Kitchen.

The concept’s ethos is carefully woven into its name. Gaia is the mythological goddess of the earth, and therapeat is the combination of the words therapy and eat.

Calamari is concerned about the environmental footprint of running a restaurant and has decided to encourage sustainability as much as possible. The company takes measures like using plant-based packaging.

The goal also is to provide food that is sustaining and nurturing for us. With each meal, the goal is to encourage the “eight universes” within us: Develop, Zen, Immune, Cleanse, Heart, Mind, Flex and Vitality.
