“We can’t believe we’re saying this…” begins a post published to Instagram this week by growing matcha, coffee, and sourdough brand Honey Veil. “…but our very first Honey Veil store is opening! This how we break the news—and we’d love for you to be part of our journey from the very beginning.”
Brought to life as a series of pop-ups by sisters Ceci and Regina, the brand will open in South Miami this fall, according to coverage by the Miami New Times. (At time of publication, the location had yet to be revealed, but had been narrowed down based on content published to Honey Veil’s social media. No opening date is available yet.)
Honey Veil’s signature matchas include the Honey Veil Matcha (Crafted with ceremonial-grade matcha and our homemade honey vanilla bean syrup, this latte is naturally sweetened with honey and blended with your choice of milk for a perfectly smooth indulgence) and the New York Summer Matcha (Strawberry jam made with strawberries and honey, layered with ceremonial grade matcha and your choice of milk).
The menu has also featured baked goods like Sourdough Blueberry Lemon Scones and Gluten Free Lemon Poppyseed Loaf. Current limited-time-only items are banana bread themed: pick between the Banana Bread Matcha and the Banana Bread Latte.
What Now confirmed news of the opening a representative on Tuesday. The representative was not immediately available for further comment, but What Now is awaiting more information.
