Huey Magoo’s Chicken Tenders is on a growth streak that shows no sign of letting up. As the chicken franchise approaches 40 locations in Florida, one franchisee has plans to keep that growth going apace this year.

Henry Dixon, one of the franchisee partners behind Huey Magoo’s in Miramar and Cooper City location confirmed opening dates for several locations already reported on by What Now. One store, in Palmetto Bay, is preparing to open in February or March at 14967 S Dixie Highway; a second is working toward an opening by the end of the summer in North Miami, at 13256 Biscayne Boulevard.

But that’s not all! There’s a third location in the works in Hialeah which Dixon says is expected to open before the end of the year.

“We try to do one to two a year, but this year it looks like three,” Dixon said. “We’re contracted nine locations in Broward County, but I’d like to do even more than that.”

Huey Magoo’s is known as the “Filet Mignon of Chicken” for a reason, and Dixon says it’s been a big hit, especially in the Miramar location.

“The location has been great,” Dixon said. “Miramar is such a vibrant community. We have great customers and great employees. The most popular thing from the menu would be hand-breaded fried chicken, but we do have that same high-quality chicken in our sandwiches wraps and salads as well, and a lot of people enjoy those.”

As we await these openings, Huey Magoo’s is launching its new rewards program. New users to the Magoo’s Rewards program will get a FREE 3-piece tender meal w/ purchase of a beverage. This offer expires soon, though, so get on it!
