Known for restaurants like ABC Kitchen, ABC Cocina, and ABCV, chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten has recently moved into the world of real estate, with plans to open Miami Tropic Residences.

Posts published on the high-rise’s Instagram page paint a picture of luxury and leisure:

“Crafted by the visionary studio @YabuPushelberg, the interiors at #MiamiTropicResidences blend tropical warmth with modern refinement—spaces that invite calm, connection, and effortless everyday living,” says one.

“Finest Amenities. Atop #MiamiTropicResidences, serene days unfold beside the rooftop pool, while evenings come alive in the Sunset Lounge—your sophisticated haven for cocktails, conversations,” says another.

Now, word is out that the new high rise will also feature a restaurant from Chef Jean-Georges: ABC Kitchens. It’s expected within the next 18 to 24 months, according to coverage by the Miami New Times.

“ABC Kitchens will follow the model of Vongerichten’s recently opened Brooklyn outpost of ABC Kitchens, combining the best of his three ABC restaurants: the farm-to-table focus of ABC Kitchen, the Latin-inspired cooking of ABC Cocina, and the vegetable-driven dishes of ABCV,” says the New Times coverage.

What Now reached out Friday to Jean-Georges Management COO Pawel Brzezinski to ask about the restaurant’s plans. Brzezinski declined to comment at this time.
