Juan Valdez Cafe is expanding in South Florida. Juan Valdez coffee is served around the world, and all of its five total brick-and-mortar cafe locations are right here in the state of Florida—with four locations in the Orlando market and one South Florida location in Doral. A recently submitted plan review shows another location is planned for Miami Springs, in suite #2 at 1 Curtiss Parkway.
“We’re in a major expansion not only in South Florida but also in Central Florida,” Larry Kruguer, CEO of Best Coffee Franchise Company, exclusive franchisee of Juan Valdez, told What Now on Friday.
The cafe chain offers familiar espresso drinks like the latte and americano, along with specialty beverages like the Vanilla-Cinnamon Latte and the Choco-Coco Latte. Milkshakes come in varieties like Tropical Fruit, Cookie, Dulce Leche, alongside frozen drinks like the Coffee Nevado and the Brownie Nevado.
The menu also features sweet and savory dishes like the Guava Cheese Finger, empanadas in varieties like Beef and Chicken, and other Latin pastries like Buñuelo (Colombian Pastry made with a mixture of cassava flour, cornstarch and Costeño Cheese).
The location on Curtiss Parkway is situated near Circle Park, alongside other food and drink spots like Starbucks, Paco’s Way Miami, and Burritoville.
“We’re excited to bring not only great Colombian coffee but also very nice variety of Latin pastries both sweet savory to the area,” said Kruguer.
