Known for restaurants like Sala’o Cuban Restaurant & Bar and Old’s Havana Cuban Bar & Cocina, Gastronomica Miami is behind plans to open La Gozadera, a new restaurant, in Miami. Plan review documents submitted by La Gozadera Little Havana LLC show an opening in the works at 816 SW 12th Ct, at the intersection with Tamiami Trail.
What Now confirmed news of the Miami opening with Gastronomica managing member Earl J. Campos Devine on Wednesday. Campos Devine said the Miami location is working towards a Winter 2025/2026 opening, but that the company, in fact, has other locations opening in the meantime.
What Now is awaiting more info (and it sounds like there’s quite a bit!)
One particular question is the connection with La Gozadera, the project from the Mige Group and restaurateur Alexander Delgado. Delgado is behind La Gozadera LLC, itself listed as an authorized member for La Gozadera Little Havana LLC, along with Gastronomica Little Havana Corp. On top of this, a restaurant called Gozadera Restaurant once occupied the space at 7844 Coral Way and has since closed. Some disambiguation is in order.
