The Chicago-based brand, Le Colonial, is planning to open up in Delray Beach, and a recent plan review filing with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation indicates that the brand is continuing to make progress.
According to the filing, the Vietnamese restaurant will open at 609 E Atlantic Ave in the forthcoming sprawling mixed-use development Atlantic Crossings in Delray Beach. In this 9-acre project, Le Colonial will be a part of a six-building dining, shopping, office and living complex that is slated to complete most of its construction soon.
The plan review, which was initiated on June 1, is still in process and awaiting approval. What Now Miami reached out to owner of Le Colonial Joe King, and we are still waiting for the brand to return our inquiry for more information. When the new unit is expected to open is unknown, but the Atlantic Crossings development itself is still under construction.
The Le Colonial brand originally opened in Chicago and now boasts units across the country is cities like: Atlanta, San Francisco and Houston. Per the brand’s website: “Le Colonial, Chicago’s famed Vietnamese institution, is a celebration of the seductive spirit and vivid flavors of 1920’s French Colonial Southeast Asia.”
