Back in May, What Now reported on Lucky Lou’s Raw Bar, an upcoming seafood restaurant from LM Restaurants opening at 123 NE 20th Ave in Deerfield Beach.
“It’s going to be a casual place, heavily seafood focused,” LM Restaurants President Amber Moshakos told What Now Friday. “We ‘ve got our menu pretty much finalized: a raw bar with a full selection, all sorts of fresh seafood—plus burgers, salads, sandwiches, and other entrees.”
And as the opening for Lucky Lou’s approaches, LM Restaurants is also at work on a new beachfront project: Pompano Beach Snack Bar, opening at 20 N Pompano Beach Blvd. in (you guessed it) Pompano Beach, according to submitted plan review documents.
“We’re hoping to start construction in the fall—very soon, in fact,” said Moshakos. “It’s going to be really fun. Think about having a slushy in one hand, and some food in the other. Casual fare: burgers, wraps, gyros. Easy food that’s exactly what you want to have on the beach.”
There you have it. That’s two more restaurants from the North Carolina-based hospitality company that is also behind restaurants like Carolina Ale House, a’Verde, Bluewater Waterfront, and more. The growth continues! Stay tuned for more details on both these concepts as they become available.
“We’re really excited to continue growing in the South Florida market and continuing to be a part of those communities,” said Moshakos.
