Restaurateur Eric Yan spoke with What Now on Tuesday to confirm plans for a new concept and renovations for another.

Yan owns the concepts Supunnahong and Baitong Thai. Both units are open and operating in Pembroke Pines, but Supunnahong will eventually close for renovations.

Yan is planning to add a sushi bar, redo the dining area and install in walk-in cooler. However, when the renovations are due to begin is unknown, as Yan is waiting for the city to approve permits. In the meantime, we can still enjoy the Thai cuisine before the doors close at 9945 Pines Boulevard.

On April 13, a plan review was filed for a new concept called 365 Thai and Sushi, which Yan reports is in the early stages of pre-opening; he and his team are waiting for permits to be approved.

The restaurant will appear at 18265 Pines Boulevard. An opening date for the restaurant isn’t available as of now.
