With locations in Miami Beach, New York, Dallas, Las Vegas, and Hong Kong, Carbone is a truly global Italian restaurant concept from Major Food Group. And it’s not the hospitality group’s only restaurant in South Florida: Major Food’s South Florida presence includes restaurants like Contessa Miami, Sadelle’s, and Chateau ZZ.

Now, submitted plan review paperwork shows Vino, which is a sister concept to Carbone (its full name is Carbone Vino), opening in Coconut Grove.

“Vino serves Carbone’s famed dishes alongside an abundance of new items, including signature antipasti and salumi, extraordinary pastas, and the brand’s first-ever pizzas,” says a description of the brand on the Major Food Group website. The Vino concept is currently operating in Dallas, Texas. This appears to be its second outpost.

What Now reached out on Monday to Major Food Group’s chief operating officer Will Nazar to inquire about plans for the opening. Nazar declined to common on a Coconut Grove Carbone Vino.
