Major Food Group, the restaurant group behind concepts like Contessa, Hasalon, and ZZ’s Club, has restaurants all over the world, in cities as far-flung as Miami, Las Vegas, Riyadh, and Hong Kong. The group is currently at work on Chateau ZZ, which will be Major Food Group’s first Mexican restaurant, according to coverage by Robb Report.

Chateau ZZ will open its doors in Brickell, at 1500 Brickell Avenue, according to recently submitted plan review paperwork.

Details about the Mexican cuisine that will make up the menu at Chateau ZZ—about which, for the moment, the Major Food Group website says only that it is “Coming Soon…”—are not yet available.

The Brickell Avenue location is situated near the intersection with Southeast 15th Road. Opening there, Chateau ZZ would join a culinary community that includes PM Fish & Steak House, Rosetta Bakery x Best Buddies, and Edge Brasserie and Cocktail Bar.
