The Michigan-based spot for authentic Mediterranean cuisine is coming to Delray Beach next month.
A plan was recently submitted for a new La Marsa coming to 13800 S Jog Road Suite 101 in Delray Beach. This will be the second restaurant in Florida, the other being in Coral Springs. Owner Yousif Elsebaei told What Now Miami he is planning on opening by Nov.15.
La Marsa has 16 locations in the Detroit area, and it was founded in 2006. The restaurant has become a household name in the city, and the group took the success to Coral Springs in 2023. Located at 6268 W Sample Road, the restaurant offers east Mediterranean dishes like kebabs, shawarma and falafel.
The Delray Beach restaurant is moving in near Nino’s of Delray on the east side of Jog Road. Right now, the plans are in process, but as Elsebaei is targeting a Nov. 15 construction is well underway.
The first mention of a new La Marsa coming to Florida was in June, in a post from the Coral Springs Facebook page. The menu will be the same, with salads and soups as well. For drinks, sodas, coffee, tea and Arabic coffee are offered.
“New city. Same flavor,” said the post.
The hours of operation for the Coral Springs location are 10 a.m.-10 p.m. daily, and Delray Beach is expected to be similar. More information can be found on their Instagram @lamarsaflorida.
