Miller Square Shopping Center, a retail center between SW 56th St. and Kendale Lakes Dr., will soon be home to Miami’s a new outpost of Milky Ways Cereal Bar. The brand was founded in 2019 by local entrepreneurs Kevin Cossio and Chelsea Hernandez. It’s the brand’s second location in Miami.

Milky Ways pairs ice cream with popular breakfasts cereal in make-your-own fashion. Guests choose a Milky Cup, Milky Cone, or Milky Shake with vanilla, vegan vanilla, or chocolate ice cream. From there, choose among cereals like Cap’n Crunch Berries, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Reese’s Puffs, and many more.

To these can be added toppings like Kit Kat, graham cracker, and Heath Bar, plus one of a selection of drizzles: caramel, dulce de leche, peanut butter, and still more.

Anchored by a Publix Super Market, Miller Square Shopping Center is also home to eateries like Canton Lee, Antojitos Mexicanos Tenorio, and El Meson de la Cava. Milky Ways Cereal Bar is expected to open there in January.

“We’re excited to bring Milky Ways to Kendall,” Cossio told What Now on Wednesday morning. “We love to see how we’re growing, and we’re looking forward to the future.”
