Popular Los Angeles restaurant Mother Wolf is growing on both coasts. The brand launched a Las Vegas location at the recently opened Fontainebleau Las Vegas, and now it’s headed to the East Coast, where a new location will open in Miami’s Design District, according to recent coverage by Eater Miami.

“I’m excited to be bringing the mosaic of culinary traditions of Rome to Miami, a city that is overflowing with culture and endless experiences,” says founder and two-time James Beard Award nominee Chef Evan Funke.

Mother Wolf will open at 39th Street and Second Avenue in the Design District, the coverage says, in a space featuring the brand’s signature “glass-enclosed pasta-making ‘lab’ at the center of the dining room, allowing guests to observe the preparation of Roman classics such as cacio e pepe, rigatoni all’amatriciana, and spaghettone alla gricia.”

Opening in the Design District location, Mother Wolf will join a food and beverage community that includes concepts like COTE Miami, Tablé by Bachour, Tacombi, and Dior Cafe, and much more.

What Now reached out on Monday to Evan Funke to inquire about the Miami location’s rollout. Funke was not immediately available for comment. The Eater coverage calls for a Fall 2024 opening.
