El Cuban Diner Serves Cuban Flavors to Calle Ocho
The hospitality group behind local favorite brands such as Salao Cuban Restaurant and Bar, Ciao Havana, Old’s Havana, and CosaNostra Nightclub, Gastronomica Miami is launching its latest concept with the opening of El Cuban Diner on October 30 at Calle Ocho at 1620 SW 8th St, Miami, FL 33135.
The restaurant brings the golden era of 1950s Cuba to life with cushioned red booths, retro neon lights, and nostalgic décor that buzzes with energy.
The diner will celebrate its opening with a Locals Party on Thursday, October 30, featuring bounce houses, family-friendly activities, and special offers, inviting neighbors to enjoy authentic Cuban flavors.
Culinary Delights: Cuban Classics with a Modern Twist
The menu blends traditional Cuban comfort food with modern updates. Signature dishes include the Frita Cubana, a Cuban-style chorizo burger on a soft bun.
El Clasico Hotdog, topped with mustard, sauerkraut, and caramelized onions, and classics like Pan Con Lechon are not left behind in the limelight. Other Cuban Bowls, which have options like Roast Pork, Ropa Vieja, Vaca Frita, Churrasco, Pollo Criollo, and Salmon, are also included in the menu.
The menu also includes pizzas, salads, and pastas for a variety of dining options. Guests may also have Malteadas, or Cuban-style milkshake, in flavors of Strawberry Maria Cookie, Chocolate Coconut and Oreo, Banana Split, and Chocolate and Corn Flakes, in addition to decadent desserts such as Maracuya Cheesecake, Arroz con Leche, Torrejas con Helado, and Flan.
