The retail center on the northwestern corner of Palm Avenue and West 21st Street in Hialeah will soon be home to a new Cuban restaurant. Plan review paperwork submitted by Delicias de la Habana LLC shows a restaurant by that name (Delicias de la Habana) opening at 2100 Palm Ave.

What Now confirmed news of the opening with owner Nancy Marante on Tuesday. Marante said an opening is expected fairly soon, but no set date has been established yet.

“We’re still waiting for licenses.”

Marante was not immediately available to discuss the restaurant further, leaving the specifics of Delicias de la Habana’s menu unknown for the moment. What Now is awaiting further details by email.

Opening in the 2100 Palm Ave. location, Delicias de la Habana joins local business like 100 Fuegos Minimarket, Shamy Smoke Shop, and Pely’s Jewelry.
