With locations all over Florida, healthy smoothie brand Tropical Smoothie Cafe is continuing to expand its footprint in South Florida with two upcoming locations. The first will open at 3081 S Dixie Hwy in West Palm Beach before the end of the year, and the second—in Royal Palm Beach, at 10229 Okeechobee Blvd #C3—will open in winter/spring of 2023.

Behind these locations are franchisee team Stephen and Alexa Caraccio. While they may be new to franchising, the couple is by no means new to the brand itself, Stephen having managed the Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Wellington.

“He helped open it,” Alexa Caraccio told What Now on Tuesday. “He saw that behind-the-scenes ownership aspect and what a good franchise Tropical Smoothie Cafe is, how helpful they are. They walk you through every step of the process.”

The Tropical Smoothie Cafe menu features a long list of healthy smoothies, and some more indulgent ones (e.g. Peanut Butter Cup). Guests can load up on nutrients with Super Veggie smoothies like the Detox Island Green (spinach, kale, mango, pineapple, banana & fresh ginger) and others, or go somewhere in between with Fruit Blends like the Blimey Limey, with strawberries, pineapple, orange juice, and lime.

The menu also features flatbreads, wraps, sandwiches, and salads, which come with sides like chips, fruit, and more.

No strangers to running a business, the Caraccios are also the team behind local business Caraccio Pools. After opening their first two Tropical Smoothie Cafes, they are planning a third at an undisclosed location.
