The intersection between South Dixie Highway and Ponce de Leon is the future home of Erba, a new Italian restaurant concept from Alpareno Restaurant Group. Erba will open at 227 South Dixie Highway this summer.

Alpareno is a partnership between chef Niven Patel and restaurateur Mohamed Alkassar. It is, as the group’s website puts it, “a product of invaluable, multifaceted international and local experience.”

What Now reached out to Alkassar on Tuesday. Alkassar declined to comment on the advent of Alpareno Restaurant Group (he previously served as Chief Operating Officer for Nolan Reynolds International), saying only that Erba would feature house-made pasta and a vegetable-forward menu. For the moment, apart from these details, much about the brand remains a mystery.

Other brands from Alpareno Restaurant Group include Orno, Mamey, and Ghee Indian Kitchen. Follow Alpareno on Instagram to stay up to date on upcoming projects.
