Located at the intersection of North Federal Highway and Northeast 20th Street, Winfield Plaza will soon be home to a new Mediterranean restaurant. A recently submitted plan review indicates that Mykonos Grill will open at 501 NE 20th St.

What Now reached out to co-owner Christiana Kavadas this week to inquire about the restaurant. Kavadas declined to comment on Mykonos Grill at this time, except to say that more information will likely be available in the coming weeks.

Details related to the restaurant’s menu can, for the moment, only be gleaned from the brand’s evocative name and its website. The former is a famously beautiful Greek island in the Aegean Sea, and the latter, though still under construction, features photos depicting popular Greek foods and ingredients: souvlaki, tzatziki, and more.

Opening in Winfield Plaza, Mykonos Grill will be part of an eclectic food and beverage community, one that includes brands like Cannoli Kitchen, Señor Burrito, The Pampa Grill, and Kung Fu Tea.
