Located on the southwest corner of the intersection between Dixie Highway and Northeast 62nd Street in Oakland Park, 62nd Street Plaza appears to be the future home of a new restaurant. Plan review paperwork was filed recently by Delicious La Michoacana LLC for a restaurant at 904 NE 62nd Street.
Behind Delicious La Michoacana is owner Jazmin Torrez. What Now reached out to Torrez this week to inquire about plans for the restaurant project. Torrez was not immediately available for comment.
This leaves us somewhat in the dark for the moment about the restaurant’s menu and brand profile—although it’s safe, of course, to guess that a restaurant named after the Mexican state of Michoacán will be offering Mexican cuisine.
Opening at 62nd Street Plaza, Delicious La Michoacana would join a food and drink community that includes Downtown Grill and Pizza Kitchen, Lazo Empanadas, Boston Bagel Cafe, and Cabo Blanco Restaurant.
