A new Peruvian restaurant looks to be in the works on Ocean Boulevard between Northeast 32nd and 33rd Streets in Fort Lauderdale. A recent plan review submitted by Holden Peru LLC shows Morena Peruvian Cafe opening at 3209 N Ocean Blvd.

Behind Holden Peru LLC is owner Wilbur Holden. What Now reached out to Holden to inquire about plans for Morena Peruvian Cafe on Monday morning. Holden confirmed the existence of the project but declined to make any immediate comment on its opening.

Apart from its featuring Peruvian cuisine, no further information can be offered yet on the restaurant’s menu. What Now is waiting for more information on the restaurant’s food and drink and offerings and overall brand profile.

Opening in the North Ocean Boulevard location, Morena Peruvian Cafe will join a number of restaurants and cafes in the area. These include Colombian Mountains Cafe, Scolapasta Bistro and Pasta Shop, Filomena’s Bean Coffee, and Smoke BBQ Restaurant & Catering.
