What Now Miami confirmed a plan review filing for Zuru Ramen with co-owner Wingshan Ko this afternoon. The concept will appear in the newly constructed Miramar Park Place shopping center at 11225 Miramar Parkway, Suite 233.

According to the Department of Corporations, she is teaming up with Tsz Lam and Jonathan Chen. Ko shared that her and her business partners are all heavily experienced in the hospitality industry, and they’ve hired a chef with between one and two decades of experience.

The space is undergoing construction, and they are still working to get signage up. Ko expects to have the doors open by the summer.

Zuru Ramen, despite being eponymous to several ramen concepts, is an independent restaurant, Ko said. The concept is to bring a contemporary spin on ramen to the Miramar area. Once this location is up and running, Ko and her business partners are hoping to bring a sister concept to Doral, but a timeframe and details on this plan are not available as of now.

The eatery will near a Starbucks and World of Beer.
