This summer, Palmetto Bay will see the return of a longtime neighborhood gathering place. Snowden’s, the restaurant founded in the 1920’s by George Snowden, will be reborn as Old Cutler Inn. Brought back to life at 16800 Old Cutler Road, it will be a new community classic “blending timeless charm, modern flavors, and warm hospitality.”

“Today, Old Cutler Inn returns with a renewed spirit—brought to life by owners Drew Dorsy and Benjamin Pascarella,” a representative told What Now in an email conversation. “Located across from the famed Deering Estate, this reiteration is founded on the same values that originally made it a community fixture. A versatile venue, with indoor and outdoor seating, makes it the perfect spot for everyday happenings to special events, accompanied by a menu highlighting fresh, locally sourced ingredients, curated for contemporary takes on wood-fired American favorites. Rooted in hospitality, Old Cutler Inn delivers warm service and a welcoming ambiance, honoring its legacy while inviting a new generation to experience its charm.”

Old Cutler Inn will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A few highlights from the menu include Prosciutto & Burrata, a Prime New York Strip, Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, and Mussels & Clams with Spanish Chorizo.

“Something interesting to note is that to this day, the Palmetto Bay submarket only has two hospitality options within a 5-minute drive,” the representative said. “Now, Old Cutler Inn is poised to once again be a go-to community spot once it opens this summer.”

Old Cutler Inn will open at 16800 Old Cutler Road, in a space comprising 4,500 square feet, with seating for 125 guests.
