Dubbed Miami’s Favorite Haitian Restaurant by the Miami Herald back in December, Pierre’s Caribbean Cuisine is preparing to expand to a second location. According to plan review paperwork submitted by Pierre’s Caribbean Cuisine 2 LLC, the next Pierre’s is launching at 5845 W Hallandale Beach Blvd in West Park.
The new location occupies about 30,000 square feet, with seating for 121 guests, owner Ananais Pierre told What Now on Friday. But apart from the addition of a full liquor license, a bar, and a lot more space, Pierre says the restaurant is sticking with what has already been working.
“It’s the same menu, the same idea, the same philosophy, and the same customer service,” said told. “We’re going to have a bar, that’s the main difference.”
“Pierre’s Caribbean Cuisine serves up an array of Haitian dishes, blending traditional flavors and authentic Caribbean spices,” said the coverage in which the Herald crowned the restaurant a Miami-Dade favorite. “Menu staples like griot, tassot, and legumes are all prepared with bold seasonings. Known for its hearty portions and rich flavors, Pierre’s delivers a true taste of Haitian culture in every dish. The restaurant’s inviting atmosphere makes it a favorite for those seeking homemade Haitian food.”
