Always a favorite for “for serious Jamaican food lovers,” Juici Patties is steadily building up its presence stateside, with locations open in Florida and New York. A new patty shop now appears to be in the works for Miramar. It would be the city’s second Juici Patties location, opening at 16327 Miramar Pkwy, in the Shoppes at Silver Isles, according to recently submitted plan review paperwork.
“If you’re new to Juici Patties and the delicious, island goodness that is ‘the Jamaican patty’ you’re in for a treat!” says the Juici Patties website. “It’s a flaky, golden, handmade pastry filled with traditionally seasoned & savory Jamaican beef or chicken. Baked to Juici perfection!”
At the center of the Juici Patties menu are four varieties of Jamaican Patties: Mild Beef, Spicy Beef, Vegan, and Spicy Curry Chicken. These are available with cheese and with avocado, both as combos (with fries and a beverage) and by the dozen or half dozen.
What Now reached out on Friday to franchisee Vanessa Ledgister to ask about plans for a new Juici Patties in the Shoppes at Silver Isles. Ledgister was not immediately available for comment.
