Located at the intersection of Crestwood Boulevard South and Southern Boulevard in Royal Palm Beach, Crestwood Square is a shopping center that houses restaurants like Sal’s Italian Ristorante and Burger King. Now, the shopping center is preparing to welcome a new Playa Bowls into the mix, launching at 11945 Southern Boulevard.

The Royal Palm Playa Bowls is the third from franchisee Joe Coakley, who also has locations in Delray Beach and Boynton Beach. What Now confirmed news of the opening with a representative of the franchisee on Tuesday.

The Playa Bowls menu features a range of healthy bowls, smoothies, juices, and cold brew coffees. Winter Specials from the menu include the North Pole Acai Bowl (Playa Acai with blueberry flax granola, banana, strawberry, Nutella, and crushed peppermint), the Gingerbread Smoothie (Banana, vanilla protein, blueberry flax granola, gingerbread spice, cinnamon, and oat milk), and the Peppermint Mocha Sweet Cream Cold Brew (Made with chicory coffee concentrate, Peppermint Mocha Sweet Cream, and oat milk).

“Playa Bowls is your slice of summer, anytime,” says the brand’s website. “Using the freshest, highest quality ingredients, we serve healthy, delicious açaí, pitaya, coconut bowls and smoothies with sustainability and community in mind. Born on the beach and built for the globe, we’re your morning booster and your lunch break dream; your post-surf fix and perfect nightcap. We can’t wait to see you again!”

The new location is expected to open before the end of winter, the representative said.
