Another location of the fast-food fried-chicken joint is coming to the area. What Now on Wednesday spoke to co-franchisee Darren Vega to get the details.
The new location will appear at 7040 W Commercial Blvd, and it will be nearing other restaurants like Baroli Restaurant and Grill, Chow Time Grill and Buffet and Burger King.
In the lot next to this forthcoming location is a Popeye’s that Vega and his business partners own. Once the new location opens, they will tear down the current one. Vega reports that the old unit is about 2,000 square feet, and the new one will be 3,000.
“We bought the lot next door, and we’re making a bigger, more efficient double-drive-thru… with all the modern conveniences,” Vega told What Now Miami.
He expects the new location to be open within the first week or two of August.
Vega and his business partners are also bringing another location of Popeye’s to Coral Springs and Miramar. These locations will open in October and August, respectively. Exact locations are not available at this time.
