All Day, the famous café boasting enthusiastic praises from locals and visitors alike, is planning to re-open their doors. According to a report from the Miami New Times, the opening date has been set on Tuesday, March 15.
The concept, which is spearheaded by Chris MacLeod and Camila Ramos, initially closed their doors in May 2021 in order to assess and regroup. The team had been suffering burnout and high levels of stress amid all the demands of running the shop during the pandemic. The New Times reported that at first, the new challenges were rewarding to work through and overcome, but they eventually reached a climax, and the team needed to take some time away.
To prevent a similar scenario in the future, MacLeod and Ramos are restructuring the operations of the concept. The team has hired a chef, sous chef and a general manager, so that MacLeod and Ramos can focus more on their own goals within the restaurant. Ramos, an award-winning barista, seeks to serve “competition-level coffee.” MacLeod will focus on community involvement, education and outreach.
Still in the process of hiring and touching up the space, Miami can visit All Day next month at the same address, 1035 N Miami Ave.
