Popular “Artisanal Empanadas Pop Up” Parguito Gourmet has served its Venezuelan cuisine in Miami Beach, Miami’s Brickell neighborhood, and Coral Gables, and now it appears to be planning to open a brick-and-mortar restaurant in Hollywood. A recently submitted plan review shows Parguito Gourmet opening a restaurant at 2725 Hollywood Boulevard.

The pop-up’s empanadas have come in varieties like Fish, Shredded Beef, Mariscos, Queso + Plantain, Vegana (with black beans and plantains), and more. It’s not yet known what changes, if any, might be made to the menu in a brick-and-mortar location.

What Now contacted Parguito Gourmet co-owner Dagmar Oliveras on Thursday to inquire about plans for a brick-and-mortar restaurant. Oliveras declined to make any immediate comment on the project, but What Now is expecting more information (so keep an eye out for possible updates in the future).

Opening on Hollywood Boulevard, not far from Hollywood City Hall, a Parguito Gourmet location would join a thriving food and drink community that includes concepts like Pita Pockets, Kay Rico Coffee, Vanucchi Brothers Pizza, and Guira & Tambora.
