Lily’s Handmade Ice Cream is a testament to persistence and creativity. Co-owner Ori Gilinsky, a self-taught ice cream maker, has helped guide the brand from a humble idea to regional expansion. As the Gilinsky family looks forward to this new venture, they are a true inspiration to the community.
The Gilinsky family is preparing to open its second location on August 8. The store will be located at the Biscayne Commons Shopping Center in North Miami. As its loyal followers continue to grow, this expansion comes at the right time, summer.
With no formal culinary background, Ori Gilinsky has taught himself the art of ice cream making. His tenacity, driven by curiosity and creativity, has created the flavors they serve today. His philosophy of ‘keeping it fun’ continues to inspire bold, imaginative flavors that keep customers coming back.
“Lily’s was born out of a deep love for ice cream and a desire to create something truly original, fun and delicious,” says Ori Gilinsky. “We’re not here to replicate what’s already out there; we want people to try something they’ve never had before. “We’re so excited to bring Lily’s to North Miami and look forward to welcoming new faces, connecting with the community, and sharing our passion for ice cream.”
The Diverse Flavors and Signature Scoops
Lily’s Handmade Ice Cream focuses on creativity and quality. The menu includes fully Kosher options, with dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegan varieties to suit every palate. And then come the brand’s signature flavors that have attracted locals time and again.
The North Miami location will also feature the brand’s 12 signature flavors. In addition to its signature offerings, Lily’s will feature four rotating flavors each month. First-time visitors are encouraged to try standout flavors like Dusty Monkey, South Florida Swamp, Fairy Floss, and Wolverine Delight.
Those looking for simpler flavors can always opt for the Pure Vanilla, Belgium Chocolate, Strawberry Dream, or Cookies N Cream Supreme. Other signature flavors include Double Espresso, Mint Chocolate, Kinderella, and Cookie Chaos. Lily’s also offers sundaes, ice cream cakes, sandwiches, and homemade waffle cones.
The new store will open in August 2025. To celebrate the grand opening, Gilinsky has teamed up with notable local personalities for exclusive flavor collaborations. Their collaboration will bring special August flavors to the opening. Collaborations will include custom flavors co-created with TV host Belkys Nerey, radio personality Paul Castronovo, and influencer Mike Zein.
