In Golden Lakes, on the southeast corner of the intersection between Sansburys Way and Okeechobee Blvd, a new breakfast (and lunch) concept is gearing up to open. Portside Breakfast & Lunch will offer a selection of tasty diner-style dishes at 8480 Okeechobee Blvd.
The Portside breakfast menu features breakfast combos served with potatoes and toast; these include the Sunrise Classic (two eggs your way & choice of bacon, turkey bacon, sausage patties, pork roll, carved ham or upgrade to pork belly), Country Fried Steak, a Breakfast Burrito, and more. Pancakes, French Toast, and Waffles (plus, don’t forget Chicken & Waffles) are on offer as well. A selection of omelets and breakfast handhelds like the Porker (slow roasted pork belly, egg & cheddar cheese on a biscuit) complete the picture.
For lunch, handhelds like the BLT, the Ribeye served on a roll with fries, the Reuben, and the Smash Burger will satisfy any hungry diner. For a walk on the lighter side, guests will be able to choose from a selection of salads. A selection of lunch plates like the Blue Crab Plate (fresh crab cakes, sautéed spinach & mashed potatoes with cilantro lime aioli on a bed of black bean corn salsa) is also available.
What Now Miami reached out to a representative of Portside Breakfast on Wednesday. The representative was not immediately available for comment. The restaurant is expected to open soon.
