Founded in 1995 as Zuma Fresh Mexican Grill before becoming arriving at the name Qdoba in 1999, Qdoba Mexican Eats has grown at a stunning pace in the years since. It reached its 200th store in 2005; it now has approximately 740 locations in the United States.

Qdoba is now working to expand its South Florida footprint, with plans for a new location in Pembroke Pines, at 16040 Pines Blvd P102. What Now reached out on Monday to franchisee Michael Guiffre to inquire about plans for the Pembroke Pines location (and future locations). Guiffre was not immediately available for comment.

The Qdoba Mexican Eats menu includes dishes like the Cholula Hot & Sweet Chicken Bowl, the Chicken Queso Bowl, and the Chicken Protein Bowl. Qdoba also takes the familiar build-your-own approach to its burritos, tacos, and bowls.

The Pines Boulevard location is situated on the southeast corner of the intersection Northwest 160th Avenue, near the Publix Super Market at 16000 Pines Market. It is one of several eateries located at the intersection, including La Flor del Tamarindo, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen, and Tropical Smoothie Cafe.
