An exciting and long-awaited farm-to-table restaurant project may be coming to fruition at last. Called Regener8 Cafe, it’s in the works in Wynwood, where submitted plan review documents show Regener8 Cafe opening at 3490 NW Second Ave.
Word first got out about Regener8 Cafe when David and Leila Centner purchased a considerable property at Aria On The Bay, located at 488 Northeast 18th Street, for the purpose of opening the cafe together with Centner Wellness, according to a Yahoo Finance article written by David Centner himself. That was back in February 2024, however.
For the moment, it’s not clear whether the location on Northwest Second Avenue represents a relocation of Regener8 Cafe, or, perhaps, a second outpost for the brand.
“Centner Regener8 Café is poised to be the future of farm-to-table dining,” the coverage says. “Much of the food prepared and sold at the café will be sourced from the Centners’ Regener8 Farm and Retreat project in South Miami. Regener8 Farm is a 34-acre working farm that produces an extraordinary diversity of products through regenerative agriculture practices, including soil grown and hydroponics vegetables, pasture raised eggs, honey, mushrooms and a variety of tropical fruits.”
What Now reached out on Monday to Andreas Schreiner, President of Centner Hospitality, to ask about plans for a Regener8 in Wynwood. Schreiner was not immediately available for comment.
