A new pizza place looks to be headed to South Beach’s City Center. Plan review paperwork was submitted recently by Rosavito, Inc. for a restaurant project called Pizzeria Romana at 533 Lincoln Road.

Behind Rosavito, Inc. is Tonino Doino, a local restaurateur known for his restaurant Rosinella Italian Trattoria. Located just down the street at 525 Lincoln, Rosinella offers a variety of Italian dishes, including pizzas, pastas, and panini. It’s been a fixture of the area since 1997.

What Now reached out to Doino on Thursday to inquire about the plans for Pizzeria Romana at 533 Lincoln Road. Doino was not immediately available for comment.

Opening at 533 Lincoln Road, the new pizza spot would join a community of restaurants on the southeast corner of the intersection with Michigan Avenue. These include Aura on Lincoln, and Playa Miami.

We’re waiting on more information on the goings-on at 533 Lincoln, but in the meantime, pay a visit to Rosinella Italian Trattoria at 525 Lincoln Road and follow @rosinellarestaurant on Instagram.
