Located by the water on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, Sandwiches by the Sea is currently closed but is working on a reopening. The relaunch under new ownership will have the sandwich shop at it again soon in its original location, at 1214 E Atlantic Ave.

Sandwiches by the Sea has offered a selection of handhelds including Fresh Cooked Roast Beef topped with sprouts, yellow mustard, Dijon mustard, honey mustard, and cucumbers, and Specialty Hoagies like the Italian Combo (Ham, genoa salami, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onions, banana peppers and Italian dressing) and New York Style (turkey, ham, Swiss, coleslaw and Russian dressing).

What Now reached out to a representative of Sandwiches by the Sea on Tuesday. The representative confirmed the news of the opening and said there may be some updates to the sandwich shop’s menu.

With the reopening, Sandwiches by the Sea will rejoin a culinary community that incudes Delray Everything Bagel, Playa Bowls, and Boheme Bistro. What Now is awaiting further information on the Sandwiches by the Sea reopening.
