Located on the northwest corner of Sunrise Boulevard and North Flamingo Road, Sawgrass Mills is one of Fort Lauderdale’s major shopping destinations. As the mall continues to develop its food and drink portfolio, it’s now preparing to add burger franchise Five Guys into the mix.
After coming across paperwork submitted by Yukon Sawgrass LLC for a new Five Guys Burgers & Fries at 12801 W Sunrise Blvd, Suite 835, What Now found this address confirmed on the Five Guys website.
What Now also reached out to franchisee Reas Kondraschow to inquire about plans for the opening. Kondraschow was not immediately available for comment, however.
Featuring burgers and other handhelds, milkshakes, hot dogs, and fries, Five Guys has been a kind of instant classic in the burger space ever since it launched about 30 years ago—and it has already expanded considerably and continues to grow at an impressive pace.
“30 years after Five Guys first opened, there are almost 1,700 locations worldwide and another 1,500 units in development,” the brand’s website says. “Five Guys continues to receive generous media attention and has grown a cult-like following around the world.”
